Executives from some of the largest U.S. oil companies have warned officials in the Trump administration that the global energy crisis, triggered by the conflict involving Iran, could worsen if disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz continue.
These warnings came during recent meetings with administration representatives, where the executives emphasized the potential for escalating turmoil in energy markets if the strategic shipping route remains unstable.
